2019 Accomplishments

  • 10th year as a valued partner of the Tonto National Forest

  • Total contribution to OHV recreation activities in the forest hit $1.2M including 35,000 volunteer hours and $450,000 in grant funding 

​

  • 4135 volunteer hours logged (down from previous years due to shutdowns and agreement issues)

​

  • ​Inspected/monitored 1789 miles of OHV trails for issues, installed 799 new route markers

​

  • Installed 4 new OHV user maps in the field - Payson, Hewitt Station, Cave Creek, Sunflower

​

  • Key member of Superior Recreational Users Group which submitted new trail plan to add 40 miles

​

  • Worked with Imerys mine to keep FR4 open until bypass can be completed

​​

  • Completed Wildcat staging area improvement project phase 1

​

  • Key member of working group to keep Cherry Creek Road open
